I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in May 1989, and I have been selling product and services ever since. The last 4 years I coupled my love of selling with managing people which allowed me to hire and develop top notch sales people. I love the fact that I am selling a process whereby I bring two parties together and everyone benefits! I cannot believe that I get to help great companies by recruiting extraordinary people.
My start as a recruiter started like many in the business. I had been downsized as a middle manager, and I needed a recruiter to help me. Executive Resources was recommended as the preeminent sales recruiting business in Des Moines. When I analyzed what I enjoyed most in management, I told the owner it was recruiting top people in my field. I found that all the different managers I learned under, coupled with my sales training, allowed me to step right into this great business.

I am blessed with a beautiful wife and two awesome kids and thoroughly enjoy what I am doing with Executive Resources. I focus on three areas currently: sales, sales management, and engineering. I also work a national desk which means that I can place people with National companies anywhere in the United States.
